Motion Computing is a Tablet PC company located in Austin, Texas. All computers produced by Motion are in the slate form factor; current products include LS800, LE1600, LE1700, and C5. The LS800, LE1600, and LE1700 are co-designed in Austin, and manufactured by Compal Electronics in Kunshan, China; the C5 is co-designed in Austin and manufactured by Asus in Taipei, Taiwan.
The Motion C5--called a mobile clinical assistant--is targeted for use in the healthcare industry. Integrated into the package are features like a bar-code reader, an RFID reader, and a digital camera.
