Motörhead discography

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The discography of the British heavy metal band Motörhead is complicated and large; this list mainly represents the "core" albums as defined by the band themselves on their web site alongside singles and other releases as detailed by other principal sources. There are, in addition, bootlegs and many compilations of previously recorded material and live recordings, which are not issued under the control of the band, so one may find exactly the same material under several different names. In addition there are some recordings by the band whilst using a pseudonym, such as What's Wordsworth?, where the band, for contractual reasons, take the name "Iron Fist and the Hordes from Hell".

Titles from 1975 to 1988 are readily available on CDs released under licence to Sanctuary Records and a subsidiary, Castle Communications, the CDs frequently include other rarities from this era as bonus tracks as well as being remastered from the original tapes.[1][2] The box set Stone Deaf Forever!, the first to be issued with Motörhead's approval, covers their career from 1975-2002.
