[edit] Summary
This is a demonstration of the severe screen glare problem with the Motorola C139. The screen is only readable when the backlight is turned on, and you can't trigger the backlight without pressing a button that changes whatever you were last doing with the phone. With the backlight off, there are no other status or power indicators so it is very hard to tell if the phone is actually on or off.
This is a collection of photos I took, of my Tracfone TFC139B, which is Tracfone's variant of the Motorola C139 series.
