Mossimo is a mid-range American apparel company, founded in 1986. Mossimo specializes in youth, teenage, and adult male clothing. It draws from street, urban and sport styles.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Mossimo's sales spread into the southeastern states when veteran sales rep Mark Andrews Rose persuaded the young company to give him the territory and a chance to expand their market. The company has since expanded internationally.
Target, the major discount store, is currently the largest distributor of Mossimo-brand clothing. Through the partnership, the company has made it through its many financial hardships.
