Mosocho Academy is a private school in the south-western part of Kenya in the Kisii District of Nyanza Province. Started in the 1980s by the late long serving member of parliament for Kitutu Chache, Dr. Z. T. Onyonka. It was an academic giant for some time, attracting students from all over the country. However, inept financial and academic leadership drove it to almost financial ruin. It was bought, on the death of Onyonka, by an educational entrepreneur of Indian origin.
