Moshgenan is a village in Isfahan province, Iran. It is located at 70km outside the city of Isfahan, between Isfahan and Yazd. Two most important places near Moshgenan, are Kouhpayeh and Toudeshk. Kouhpayeh is before and Toudeshk is after Moshgenan when you travel by bus from Isfahan to Yazd or Naein. All three are located at the right side of this path.
Many important people lived there, most of them are now teachers in schools or universities. But today Moshgenan is not so crowded and populated because of the bad weather and water shortage.
Moshgenan is sometimes pronounced and written as Moshkenan, but Moshgenan is more familiar.
