Moshe Zemer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rabbi Moshe Zemer is a leader in Progressive Judaism who specializes in the reform movement's approach to Jewish law (halakhah).
Zemer publishes both scholarly essays and responsa. He has co-edited a series of Jewish law anthologies with Walter Jacob, an American Reform halakhist.
He has actively challenged the Israeli political and legal system to recognize Reform leaders in Israel on such matters as the authority to certify marriages.[1]
