[edit] Season 4
As soon he was sent to Death Row, Moses befriended Shirley Bellinger. During some nights, Deyell masturbated watching Shirley having sex with the racist CO Len Lopresti. When Shirley was executed, fellow inmate Mark Miles decided to make racist jokes and mock Moses. During an angry attack, Moses punched the wall, breaking his own arm. Angry, Moses started to dig a tunnel in the wall that divides his and Miles's cells. Some days before Miles's execution, Moses broke the wall and strangled Mark to death. As Nat Ginzburg died from AIDS days before, Moses was now the only one at the Death Row. Shortly afterward, insane inmate William Giles was convicted to death from the homicide of Latino inmate Louis Bevilaqua and was sent to Death Row. When Giles has to decide how he wanted to die, Giles said he wanted to be stoned to death. Due the inviability, Governor James Devlin re-wrote the death penalty, only letting lethal injection and electric chair as choices. Giles's sentence was overturned and he was sent to solitary. Insipired by Giles, Moses met with Muslim leader Kareem Said and said his book changed his mind and he wants to donate his organs. Moses met a blind man who was going to receive his eyes and entered in a van to go to the hospital. Later, the television news announced that Moses died while trying to escape from the moving van.
