Moschato or Moshato or Moskhato (Greek, Modern: Μοσχάτο, Katharevousa: -ον -on), older form: Moschaton and Moshaton, also with the a accented is a Greek located south of Karditsa in the western part of the Karditsa Prefecture. Moschato is also in the municipal municipality of Plastiras. Moschato had a population of 509 for the village and 576 for the municipal district in 2001. Its residents are based in agriculture.
The village was known as Vlasdo or Blasdo (Βλάσδο) or Blazd (Μπλαζντ) during the Ottoman rule and the first fifty years with Greece and after the Thessalian War.

After World War II and the Greek Civil War, the population steadily declined as residents moved to larger towns and cities and the richest countries in the world. The population did not change between 1981 and 1991, the population recovered in 2001 but residents work in agriculture and other places around the area.
Electricity arrived in the 1960s, it was linked with pavement in the late-20th century, television arrived in the 1980s.

Moschato has a school, a church and a square (plateia), its nearest lyceum (middle school), and its gymnasium (secondary school) and banks are in Morfovouni.
