[edit] Thai
This is an English-language encyclopedia. Please do not insert blocks of Thai text into articles, especially when someone else removed it with good reason. Continuing to re-insert random blocks of foreign text, which are nonsense to English speakers, will be interpreted as vandalism ("nonsense vandalism"). See WP:VANDAL. Also note that you do not own articles you create - WP:OWN - and do not have the power to dictate the content of the article. Articles are a collaboration, with the goal of creating a high-quality encyclopedia, and if your contributions are not up to Wikipedia's guidelines for quality and content they will be "edited mercilessly" to continually improve them
If you wish to contribute in the Thai language, consider contributing to the Wikipedia in that language. This is the English-language Wikipedia, where articles are written in English TheBilly (talk) 13:20, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of List of Common Thai Names
An editor has nominated List of Common Thai Names, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Common Thai Names and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 13:59, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Moondram Pirai
Hi there. I used to edit the Wikipedia article for the 1983 Tamil film, 'Moondram Pirai'. I noticed that you added a Japanese categorization for this film. May I know what the reason is for that? Was this film dubbed/subtitled in Japanese and screened in Japan? I am curious to know. Arigatou gozaimasu! AppleJuggler (talk) 07:43, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

- Thanks for writing back, and sorry for thinking that you spoke Japanese. I am curious if this film has been screened in your country (is it China?) Because it is a little unusual for these Tamil films to have Chinese/Japanese categorisations. Regards, AppleJuggler (talk) 08:04, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Wow... it is amazing that a famous Chinese novelist have written a similar story as to this film! I am surprised and delighted to know that Chinese film students are familiar with this film. Have you watched it before? I think it is a very touching film (though a little bit old) and has phenomenal acting by Kamal Haasan in it. The film is South Indian, by the way (made in the state of Tamil Nadu, rather than in Sri Lanka -- although the film director, Balu Mahendra is a Tamil-speaking person who was born in Sri Lanka). Thank you very much, once again, for your very interesting information about Lao She and Moondram Pirai :) With best wishes, AppleJuggler (talk) 08:18, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

- Oh yes, thanks also for the Katakana image you put on my page. I like it. I am also trying to find if I can find some of Lao She's books in my university library... maybe there are English translations somewhere, who knows! Anyway, take care talk to you next time :) AppleJuggler (talk) 04:31, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] West Mebon
Hello, Mori Riyo. I shot the photos of the West Mebon in November 2006. The boat ride out to the temple was very pleasant. Writer128 (talk) 23:10, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
