I'm a random person from Leicester (currently inhabiting Seven Sisters, London). I used to use Wikipedia a lot then successfully overcame my addiction strangely. I care a lot less than I did which is good because it means I can do more. I am not Welsh, and am not Morven either. I strongly dislike marmite, used to claim not to be a goth and have never had a userbox. I seem to be being quiet at the moment. You can find me here and here
I am happy to fish stuff out of books and other media I have, although I can't guarantee any timeframe. Some of the books I have access to are listed in my library.

Photo gallery - various photos of things in London and Leicester. There are many not so good ones that are not listed there. I now have a minor hobby of going to see bands at The Charlotte and taking photos of them for Wikipedia - Art Brut, The Dears, The Modern and Mortiis are now illustrated as a result of this.
I used to make lots of maps. I like the one on Prefectures of Greece. Image:EnglandAdminCountiesNumbered.png came out quite well too. I have now partially retired from map-making. If you want blank versions of the maps I have made, please ask me and I shall try to dig them up - the ones I've uploaded already are at Wikipedia:Blank maps. Sometimes I will make modified versions of maps I already made, too.
I started the article about the 7 July 2005 London bombings. The next day I was interviewed by The World about this and Wikipedia. They used a sentence of me (I am told that it was a good sentence). I also started the article about the rural district of Uxbridge, which I have inexplicably failed to get a radio interview about.
I was working on an insane project to stub every parish that exists without the use of a bot, and then I got bored. Instead I was then making an article on every parish that used to exist. I got bored of that too. I am perhaps to blame for several things, including the use of templates to sidelink articles, image tagging, and the practice of Wikipedians meeting up.
[edit] Barnstar collection
I award you this barnstar for your excellent work in sorting through the many images on Wikipedia so we can figure out which ones are GFDL-legit (and also for uploading so many yourself). Secretlondon deserves one too, but somebody else beat me to that. --Michael Snow 21:46, 21 Feb 2004 (UTC) |
I award you this barnstar for starting up the 7 July 2005 London bombings article! I'm an Anglophile, and this is really quite profound. --Merovingian (t) (c) July 7, 2005 11:48 (UTC) |
