[edit] Merger proposal

This page shares many common themes with Certified Mortgage Planner, and the existence of two separate articles is causing duplicate content and confusion. I suggest they be merged into one article. --Careax 21:48, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

For merger. Go for it. It makes sense. simonthebold 10:07, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Against Merger. A Certified Mortgage Planner is part of the Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist designation which is a thing, a "Mortgage Planner" is a person who handles mortgage financing in a particular niche. Where the things may have similar concepts they are two different things. --Xyrith 18:58, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Against Merger. A Certified Mortgage Planner is not part of the Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist designation, they have no rights to CMP, and used CMPS, KendallTodd began using the CMP in commerce in 1994, but I agree with the above the Mortgage Planner is a person, it is a title more like a 'Realtor', and an evolution of the mortgage lender that separates their primary activities.
