[edit] Sentence Structure

"Hydro (who served as Sub-Zero's close associate) was killed by Scorpion and thus depicting the death of Sub-Zero the elder. Therefore the Sub-Zero that was killed by Sub-Zero was actually Sub-Zero the elder. "

What the devil... I'm not sure what this is saying, here. The S 03:46, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

I don't know either. Never read any of the comics. If you think you can clear it up, go for it. dfg 16:15, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

Unfortunately, neither have I. It's just... that sentence can mean so many different things, but not what it actually states. The syntax is horrible. The S 03:12, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

I'll get on this soon. I have all the comics. Shadaloo 12:26, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

Holy crap, I JUST figured this out, about a year later- the original editor is saying Hydro's death represent's the elder Sub-Zero's death. Clearly that can't be accurate, given the elder Sub-Zero later dies by Scorpion's hand. Hydro's just a minor character. I'll fix this now... --L T Dangerous 18:38, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Two Sub-Zeros

I think the article is mistaken about being only 1 Sub-Zero. At the end of the 2nd Tournament Edition Scorpion incinerates Sub-Zero and the next page, it shows Shao Kahn holding both a skull and the medallion (the object each side has to get to win) while saying the next:

"It was a brave showing, mortal. Were it within me to do so...I would wish you a season of rest for your tortured soul..."

Moreover, Sub-Zero's line at the last page of said comic are these:

"Treachery and deceit were not a part of the Lin Kuei order when my brother was a part of it..."

A brother? Isn't that more or less saying this one is the younger, while the older did infact died under Scorpion's flames? Someone should fix that in the article.

[edit] Wasn't there the Deception series?

Like in 2005 or so? --HanzoHattori 10:54, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Wam Entertainment was working on a Deception comic but I don't think it ever got released. NinjaFromHell 16:01, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

I see. Looks like they went out of business before it was relased. --HanzoHattori 17:18, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ouch...

I've just done a major overhaul to the article, greatly expanding and rewording the canon comics section in the process. I actually can't believe we went this long without mentioning the MK4 comic properly. I realise there's a lot of (sadly, I feel, essential) text hence why I've uploaded the covers to the canon comics and two other pictures from them. I think the non-canon comics section could do with looking at, too, which I'll get on in short order. --L T Dangerous 17:25, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Comic characters

Where are Wynd and Rayne (Rayden's assistants in Rayden & Kano Trilogy) ? --200.101.54.25 17:27, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:RaidenDemons.jpg

Image:RaidenDemons.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
