[edit] Tagline
Once again, I've moved it back underneath the plot summary. If you can give an actual reason as to why it should be moved, then I wont complain. Until then, it stays where it is. —Xezbeth 18:56, May 4, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Trivia
Why does someone keep removing the Undergrads reference to this movie? It is trivia and there are many similar things for dozens of other topics. It is my belief that deleting it is an act of bias to defend it from a joke that a tv show made towards the movie and it's place in pop culture. By this it is a sort of act of vandalism on the site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.191.40.149 (talk • contribs)
- As far as I can tell it has only been removed once.
- As for why I deleted it, it is an incredibly minor bit of trivia that has almost nothing to do with the movie. Similar things in dozens of topics should also be removed. EVula 17:38, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Changed first image
I want to change the image of the DVD cover to a poster for the film, because in the infobox should be used posters instead of DVD covers. David Pro 12:41 30 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Story
Why did Shang Sung make sure Johnny, Sonya and Liu Kang will come to the turnament? Wouldn't he be better off without them, or with some other americans who are not martial artists? Simpsonary 18:28, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think it has something to do with the fact that Mortal Kombat cannot be won by trickery - the best fighters must be present and they must be defeated. Raiden mentions this late in the film. Either way, this is just to do with the general stupidity of megalomaniacs, and not Mortal Kombat. Harley Quinn hyenaholic 19:28, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Because it would make for a really short, boring, and stupid movie if they weren't martial artists. Not to mention it would have then had nothing to do with the game on which it is based. This is fantasy, we have to accept certain things to be a slightly illogical. I also like Harley's reasoning about megalomaniacs and how they always must better the best. BTW, the name is Shang Tsung. (Sorry, defensive geek side coming out.) Justin The Claw 16:35, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:MK083.jpg
Image:MK083.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:18, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Voice of Shao Kahn ("The Emperor")
Does anyone know who voices Shao Kahn at the end of the film? His voice reminds me a lot of the voice of Dr. Claw, but it is not listed in the film's credits, nor does it appear on Frank Welker's IMDb page. Justin The Claw 21:12, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
