[edit] Ian Schrager

Ian Schrager is no longer affiliated with Morgans Hotel Group and they are striving to build their brand away from a partner Ian Schrager, who was not the only founder.

Please note, Ian Shrager is not to be mentioned on this page. If you would like to discuss this please email me at bgenerale (at) zetainteractive.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bgenerale (talkcontribs) 19:12, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes, noted. Now the fact is that this opinion does not change history. It is fine to correct errors and improve the article. But the article is not owned by Morgans and it sure sounds like your edits are either vandalism or WP:COI or maybe even both. Vegaswikian (talk) 20:59, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Your views of their history aren't as accurate as theirs - please visit their about us page on site, to get a more accurate reflection of the past. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bgenerale (talkcontribs) 15:29, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Maybe you can help by explaining what is fact and not someones views. I have no view on this except that you seem to be revising history without any citations. You remove information that was sourced and in place for a period of time with no reliable sources to say that what was previously sourced is in fact wrong. If someone was a founder, and that fact was sourced, then he is a founder. If that was in error, then you need to provide a source that can confirm the change you are making. I have no idea what the correct answer is. I'm objecting to what may be a COI edit without sources. If anything, this page would seem to support the current wording.
