[edit] Research

As of the 2006-2007 school year, many faculty members forbid students from using research from many popular websites such as Wikipedia. Students are also strongly discouraged from using any .com sites, as the teachers have decided that "...Dot com sites are commercial [sites] and are trying to sell you something. Much of the information may be inaccurate..." They normally prefer the use of .org and .edu domains. These decisions have been heavily criticized by many students.[1]
