Mortal Online is an upcoming video game in the MMORPG-genre developed by the newly started Swedish video game company Star Vault. The game uses Unreal Engine 3 by Epic Games and focuses on a sandbox-style of gameplay. It is scheduled for release during summer 2009.[1][2][3]
Mortal Online is a PvP (player versus player) based game, but with PvE (player vs environment) as well. The game features no level system, players will be measured purely on skill. There will be different races and classes for the player to chose from which have not yet been announced. Players can have multiple characters per account. All characters on a specific account share a soul called a "Deva" which binds the characters and their actions.[3][4]
