The Achilles Morpho (Morpho achilles) is a Neotropical butterfly found in Surinam, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, Paraguay and Brazil. Many subspecies have been described.

Achilles was a Greek hero of the Trojan War, the central character of Homer's Iliad.
