Morphius Records is an independent record label based in Baltimore, Maryland. The label deals with the local post-punk scene since, releasing records by bands like The Fuses, The Oranges Band, and re-issues by the British band The Homosexuals. The label was founded by David Andler, a noted Simpsons scholar and drummer of world-wide renown. The label has had a long history in the local Baltimore scene. In its early days, the label was closely associated with the Copycat Building music community and particularly the Social Services recording studio.
