In Greek mythology, Moros ("doom", "fate") is the personification of impending doom, who drives every being, mortal or otherwise, to its fated doom. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, and not even Zeus can defeat him. He is a son of Erebus and Nyx, and brother of the Moirae, his agents and servants.

- In the MMO computer game EVE Online there is a class of dreadnought capital ship named after Moros.
- In the science fiction series Stargate SG-1, Moros is an Ancient who eventually gives rise to the legend of Merlin.
- In the MMORPG World of Warcraft, there is a boss mob named after Moros. His name is Moroes, the Tower Steward of Karazhan. He is traditionally the second boss defeated in Karazhan.
- In the White Wolf RPG Mage: the Awakening, the Moros are a path of Mages dealing especially with Death and Matter.
- In the Persona 3 RPG, the character Jin can summon Moros as his Persona. In the game, Moros is represented by The Hermit Tarot card.
- In The Last Legionary, a young adult science fiction novel, the home planet of Keill Randor is names Moros. It was destroyed in the first novel Galactic Warlord.
