Morogoro Region

Morogoro Region is one of the regions of Tanzania. Its capital is Morogoro. It is bordered to the North by the Tanga Region, to the East by the Pwani and Lindi Regions, to the South by the Ruvuma Region and to the West by the Iringa and Dodoma Regions.
According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Morogoro Region was 1,759,809.[1]
The regional commissioner of the Morogoro Region is Retired Major Said Kalembo .[2]

The Morogoro Region is administratively divided into 6 districts: Mvomero, Kilosa, Kilombero, Ulanga, Morogoro Urban and Morogoro Rural.
