Mormon Times

MormonTimes is a website and newspaper insert containing news and information for and about members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).

MormonTimes is produced by the Deseret Morning News in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is not an official publication of the LDS Church, and is separate from the weekly official "Church News" section included with the Deseret News.[1]

Included in the website's sections of are stories of the LDS Church's general authorities and news coming out of the Church Office Building.

MormonTimes brings the stories, photos, and updates of the more than 50,000 LDS missionaries all together in one place.

The education section contains current-event items drawn from across the LDS Church Educational System, including its seminary program, weekly fireside meetings, and institutes of higher learning like BYU and the LDS Business College.

As genealogy research is one of the hallmarks of Mormon culture, MormonTimes shares news and information relevant to family history enthusiasts.

MormonTimes works with the Foundation for Apologetic Information & Research to provide its readers with answers on a wide variety of topics in a Q&A section.
