Morita, Aomori

Morita (森田村; -mura) was a village located in Nishitsugaru District, Aomori, Japan. On February 11, 2005 Morita merged with Inagaki, Shariki, Kashiwa and Kizukuri to form the city of Tsugaru. As a result of this merger the village no longer exists as an independent municipality.
As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 5,020 and a density of 208.13 persons per km². The total area was 24.12 km².
