Morison's pouch
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Morison's pouch is the potential space of the subhepatic recess [1]. It is anterior to the right kidney and posterior to the liver. When the patient is in supine position, it is likely to accumulate intraperitoneal fluid from an aortic aneurysm, hepatic trauma, and even ectopic pregnancies[2][3] due to its inferior location.
