Moria Casán (born Ana María Casanova on August 16, 1944 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine actress, dancer and singer.

[edit] Career

Soon after acting in a revue show with the Argentine icon Nelida Roca, Moria Casán became a stage sex symbol and vedette. She is also known for her musical shows and on television as a TV hostess and producer.

Most of her filming career was in sexy comedies, acting with well-known comedians as Alberto Olmedo, Jorge Porcel, and fellow friend Susana Giménez.

Moria also marked an era in Argentina though her talk shows Amor y Moria and Entre Moria y Vos, as well as her theater plays. In October, 2005, Moria Casán was implicated in a much-publicized campaign when she postulated for a seat at the parliament.

After many years in the entretainment industry Moria evolved to become a show woman, rather than a mere sex symbol, based on her multi facetic talent and wording inventions that become immediately popular among people of all ages.

As the entreprerenual woman Moria is, she also participated in ventures like a Gaysoline -a gay club in Buenos Aires-, Playa Franca -a nudist beach in Mar del Plata-, and lately in her own arts school, where one of the most popular class is the pole dancing. She can be usually seen in her new restauant Moria+ where erotic dances take place during dinner.

Her last TV appearance was in Bailando por un Sueño (dancing for a dream), where she notably acted as judge of the contest, while people in Argentina are still claiming the comeback of al times most seen talk show, Entre Moria y Vos.
