Morgan Matthews (born May 21, 1987 in Chicago) is an American ice dancer. She previously competed with Maxim Zavozin. They joined forces on the ice in 2001. The duo won the 2003 and 2004 U.S. Junior titles and captured the 2005 World Junior championships. After placing a disappointing fifth at the 2007 United States Figure Skating Championships, Matthews and Zavozin announced the end of their partnership on February 26, 2007. [1] She has formed a new partnership with Canadian Leif Gislason. They will be skating for Azerbaijan.
