Morgan Lewington was born in Chichester, UK, and moved to New York City in 1970. He then relocated with his family to Canada, and grew up in the Toronto region of Ontario. He obtained his BA and MA in Communications and Mass Media from University of Toronto, Brock University in 1991. In 1995 he graduated from Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology, having completed the Broadcasting, Radio, Television and Film Production Management Programme. In 1995, he relocated from Toronto to Vancouver, British Columbia, where he began freelance work in various positions in film and television production companies.

Morgan Lewington is a British-born, Canadian television and film producer, and freelance location scout/location manager based in Victoria British Columbia. Morgan Lewington has been under contract with 20th Century Fox, Brightlight, Paramount, Warner Bros., MSNBC, Nickelodeon, National Geographic Television, as well as Buena Vista Television, Lifetime Network and CHUM Televisionsince 1995. He is the co-founder of Mercury Entertainment Canada Limited, a producer and distributor of direct-to-video independent productions, and Lotus Group, a specialised talent agency based in Vancouver, BC. In 1998, he designed and implemented Western Canada's first completely mobile ADR service. Additionally, he contracts services to the Greater Victoria Film Commission and to the Canadian Department of National Defense.
