Morgan Creek Productions is an American film studio that has released box-office hits like Young Guns, Major League, True Romance, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Crush, and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and others. The studio was founded in 1988 by James G. Robinson.
The studio has had a varied 17-year history that has seen the Santa Monica, California-based company shift domestic distribution bases from 20th Century Fox to Warner Bros. and, since July 2005, and onwards for the next three years, Universal Studios.
Founder Robinson continues to lead the company as chairman and CEO. His son, David C. Robinson, serves as vice president.
Currently they are planning a third installment in the Ace Ventura series.[1]
