Morfa Bychan

Morfa Bychan is a coastal village west of Porthmadog, in Gwynedd, north-west Wales. It is very popular with tourists; its population doubles in summer.
Near Morfa Bychan there are a number of beaches, the biggest being Black Rock sands, where music videos have been filmed, including a Coldplay video. Part of a 1970s version of William Shakespeare's Macbeth was also filmed on this beach. Morfa Bychan also has a large golf club, a Spar shop, a gift shop, a fish and chip shop and a number of pubs. Morfa Bychan extends towards Cricieth; this part of Morfa Bychan is known as Treflys and is mostly farms.
