More plains

Apparently on the Leh - Chalunka[citation needed] road from Leh to Manali this stretch of 40 km[citation needed] falls in between Leh and Sarchu. Sarchu will be your point of rest midway if you plan to do a comfortable enough ride from Leh to Manali or reverse. Sarchu only has tents though. This road has an average elevation of 4000 meters[citation needed] and is flanked by mountain ranges on both sides. At some places the road runs along the Chandra river[citation needed] featuring some stunning sand and rock natural formations.
