Mordialloc is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is in the Local Government Area of the City of Kingston. The name is derived from the Aboriginal term moordy yallock, meaning little sea (lagoon). [3] It is situated on Mordialloc Creek, and is about 25 km south-east of Melbourne. Mordialloc railway station is on the Frankston railway line.
