"Morden" is a single by Good Shoes.
It was only released on 7" vinyl perhaps to cater the growing number of indie fans choosing vinyl over digital sound, and the release came also with a free gift of 6 postcards depicting Morden, in south-west London, the home town of the band's members.
The postcards given out are pictures all featured in the music video.

[edit] Music video
The music video directed by Rhys Jones and Simon Waldron contains many images of Morden in the London Borough of Merton, as well as the band playing in a room surrounded by trinkets, which is revealed at the end to be a park bandstand.
The lyrics describe Morden as a stereotypical average town in the United Kingdom with a conformist atmosphere. It also includes references to crime, shops and the general "nothing to do" attitude that faces many young people in major urban areas which is clearly portrayed in the video.
