Torrance Moran Norris (pronounced /MORE-un/) (born June 16, 1978 in Houston, Texas) is an American football fullback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He went to the University of Kansas. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 4th round (115th overall) in the 2001 NFL Draft. Norris played one season with the Saints before becoming a member of the Houston Texans, when the Texans claimed Norris off waivers in 2002. Norris was then a member of the Texans until 2005. Norris was signed as a free agent by the 49ers in 2006.

During his NFL career, Norris has been utilized on special teams and as a full-time starter at fullback. He also has been used as a kickoff returner. In 2005, for the Texans, Norris played in all 16 games with five starts and had one reception for four yards and 12 special teams tackles.

In 2006, Norris enjoyed his most successful season as a lead-blocker in Norv Turner's power running scheme, and was a big reason why 49ers running back Frank Gore was able to rush for 1,695 yards going on to start in the Pro Bowl. He caught two passes for touchdowns; one of those coming in the season finale against the Denver Broncos, helping to knock them out of the playoffs. Norris' successes in 2006 reminded many fans of great 49er fullbacks such as Tom Rathman and Fred Beasley.
