Moorbank Botanical Garden

The Moorbank Botanical Garden is a 3 acre site attached to Newcastle University biology department and located to the west of the main Newcastle University campus in the UK.
In addition to a variety of outdoor plants the garden also features a substantial group of glasshouses which contain a variety of tropical species and plants being used for research. The gardens are used by students for research but through a volunteer network also is opened to the public on certain days via the National Gardens Scheme.
