"Moonshine" is a single by Savage featuring Akon, released in 2005. The song was written by both Akon and Savage. It is considered by many to be a humorous song because of its clever twist in the last verse. The listener is made to believe that Savage is rapping about a girl he is in love with. His friends don't let him drive when she's around and her kisses "drive him tipsy". His addiction to this woman is central to his life. In the end however, Savage cleverly turns the song around, by saying "I love my alcohol, what more can i say?" the listener then realizes that the song is in fact about alcohol. Another listening of the song allows the responder to appreciate the new meaning in the lyrics.
