Moo & Oink

Moo & Oink is a Chicago, Illinois-based grocery store chain and wholesaler that caters to the inner-city community. Originally named the Calumet Meat Company, the company assumed its current name in 1976.

It is well known for its odd late-night television commercials, usually featuring dancing people in cow and pig costumes. The commercials feature a distinctive hip-hop jingle; the lyrics are roughly: "Moo and Oink! Moo Moo Moooooooooooooo & Oink!" Their Jingle Debuted In 1982 In The "Moo & Oink Dance" Commercial. In 2005, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler sang the Moo and Oink jingle on the "Weekend Update" portion of Saturday Night Live in order to prove to Scott Podsednik that they were native Chicago White Sox fans.

Moo & Oink is also famous for its hand-cleaned chitlins.
