[edit] Complaint

(the following comment was left by User:MonsterOfTheLake replacing the contents of this talk page:)

Do you people get your kicks out of jumping to conclusions? READ WP POLICY:

However, reverting such removals or redirects is not proper and may result in a block for edit warring.

I have a right to blank the user page. The block is completely unwarranted, and straight-out hostile. Are you seriously blocking someone without even contacting them, or knowing WP policy? MonsterOfTheLake 13:24, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

You do not WP:OWN your talk page. Removing legitimate warnings from your talk page is explicitly listed as vandalism and you have been repeatedly warned not to do this. The primary reason you were blocked, however, was for repeated personal attacks. You have had sufficient warning about this and have refused to amend your behavior. By the way, the quote you are so fond of does not appear in WP:POLICY. If you continue to blank your talk page and/or resort to personal attacks I will extend your block and protect this talk page from your further vandalism. Thanks, Gwernol 13:34, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
It's obvious that you're unwilling to resolve, and have a bias. I'm appealing the block. See you in court. MonsterOfTheLake 13:37, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
I've found the "policy" you keep trying to quote: Wikipedia:Removing warnings. Please note that this is a policy proposal and is not Wikipedia policy. Even the proposed policy clearly states (more than once) that the vandalism policy defines removal of legitimate warnings as vandalism and therefore prohibits it. You can take this to dispute resolution if you want, but you should understand that you are incorrect regarding policy. You should also consider that you are blocked primarily because of personal attacks which are not tolerated here on Wikipedia. Thanks, Gwernol 13:46, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
For the record, removal of warnings may be considered 'hostile' or an attempt to 'hide things', but it is not "vandalism" and may not be reverted as such. Removing warnings is discouraged, but not in and of itself a blockable offense under any policy. Please do not edit war to retain the placement of such as that is against policy and may result in a block. --CBD 12:59, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Meatball's angry cloud

MOTL, you should look at this article: http://www.usemod.com/cgi-bin/mb.pl?AngryCloud - This explains why it's not a good idea to go berserk on people. WhisperToMe 03:58, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

MOTL, you are not blocked anymore. WhisperToMe 23:30, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
