That group of people have made several amateur movies that are gaining popularity in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario in Canada. GW productions consists of four people, Lilly, Kit, Ray and Meg, all of family relation. Up to date, three movies have been created by these individuals.

[edit] Movies

[edit] The first movie

The first film created by GW productions was a zombie film. This is considered to be the most realistic of the three created, because the characters express real emotions to the events that are occuring to and around them. This movie was made to be serious, but several slips are noticable that make the audience laugh. (i.e. odd lines: "I'm gonna go splash my face.") The movie ends suddenly, and it is unknown if Ryan (the last surviving character) was killed or not. The individuals constituting GW productions acted in and shot this film in July of 2005.

[edit] The second movie

The second movie is called Monster Mash and was meant to be a lot funnier than the first. The film begins with the crew of GW playing characters named after them, as in the first movie. It is immediately obvious that this movie is less realistic, as the characters do not express real emotions when disturbing situations occur. When a certain character dies, they simply shrug it off and say : "He's gonna be okay." Hilarious characters were introduced into this film, such as the TV repair-man, and the lost gorilla. This movie is what Ray describes as "a lot more random than the first" . With gorillas jumping into lakes, characters turning into werewolves, and dark spectres hovering around here and there, this statement was described to be accurate by the people who viewed this film. A total of 5 characters were killed during this movie, and it all seemed normal to the surviving ones. Meg, one of the four "founders" of GW productions, did not participate in the production of Monster Mash, as she was away on business far from the set. This movie was made in August of 2005, a month after the previous film.

[edit] The third movie

The third movie, "Evil Duck" was created on Labor Day weekend in 2005. The shortest movie by GW, It was filmed in a total of 8 hours, expanding over two days. Fans of the GW films were surprised to see even more randomness than in "Monster Mash". The entire movie was based upon an evil children's toy, which possessed people to kill eachother. The movie begins with two girls being killed by men possessed by the toy, calling themselves "Ghostbustaz". The movie then cuts to the same location, thirty years later, where an old man is guarding the toy. The random events continue, as a ninja breaks through the door and begins a sword fight with the old man. As these two are fighting, the same gorilla from the second film comes in and steals the toy. The animal is later shot by a hunter, who takes the toy. The ninja returns to see his master, who kills him for having failed his mission. Many more random scenes occur, such as the master being run over by a TV repair-man on a bicycle during his quest for a glass of milk. The movie ends with the Ghostbustaz returning, only to kill eachother, possessed by the Evil Duck. Meg was again absent for the production of this film, so the other members recruited another actor to facilitate the filming process.

[edit] Future projects?

[edit] Police thriller

GW productions have said on their website that they will devellop a police thriller in the near future. Reports say two of the four "founders" will play detectives, searching for clues after an important satellite was stolen. The article on the site, written by one of the founders, says: Our growing number of fans can expect a great movie very soon. The storyline of the new movie will definately be more realistic, unlike our previous projects which were based on supernatural events. It has been confirmed that Meg, who has only been in one of the GW movies, will play an important role in the upcoming film.

[edit] Haunted House

The GW productions site has also said that they have been permitted to film in an an old house that is believed by many to be haunted, in a small town in Ontario. There hasn't been confirmation on what the title or the story of the movie will be. "Don't get too excited yet, we'll probably only begin filming sometime next summer." explained one of the founders in the website's blog.
