[edit] MONDAY NIGHT LIVE
Monday Night Live is a 15-30 minute sketch-comedy/variety show created by kids in suberban Los Angeles, California. The show is not aired on television, but can hopefuly be watched Monday nights on youtube as soon as late 2007. The show consists of a variety of short comedy sketches.
[edit] Name
The name of the show, an obvious parody of the popular sketch-comedy show Saturday Night Live, might be changed to "Monday Night Prime-Time". The new name will be introduced in season two.
[edit] FORMAT
The format, similar to nickelodeon's All That, is a variety of short comedy sketches performed by teens. The show starts out with some kind of rediculous sketch. (Monaday Night Live crew members like to call this their "opening sketch") then, when the audience least expects it, the actor(s) look at the camera and yell "Live from So-Cal,It's Monday Night!" After the "opening sketch" the opening credits role. The opening credits show random clips of each cast member, labeling their name with the clips. Originaly, the theme song for the first season was "I Love LA" written and performed by Randy Newman, but was later changed to "Hungry Like the Wolf". After the credits role, the show goes on with its normal sketch-comedy routine, and ends later on with a closing normaly done by creater/director Philip Maingot & co-executive producer Robert Kasper.

[edit] About the Cast
Jorge Guevara- Jorge's role in the show is basically the same in all sketches. He is portrayng the steriotypical gangster character who is always jacking (stealin) merchandise anywhere from local supermarkets to elementary schools. His most famous, and popular trademark catch phrase is "Ahh Hell No",in which he uses when hitting his target with his "big red bat". The big red bat was introduced in his most popular skit/sketch "Got any Grapes".
Trevor Spencer- Spencer's characters are some of the most unique characers that you will ever see on Monday Night Live. He portrays the phsyco guy and/or nerdy guy. He is a very good actor when it comes to being angry, and even more terriffic when portraying a nerd. He shows off his nerdy talent in his debut skit "The Magic Watch". Later in season one, he established a full time role as crazy Stella, a liquor owner who chases her costomers away with her loud "Chant".
Kyle Asis- Brother to co-cast member Travis Asis, Kyle separates himself from his brother, creating his own unique style of acting. He is also not to bad himself when it comes to nerdy acting. Probobly because he is a nerd. He shows off this talent in the opening sketch of season1/episode 4, portraing a nerd who is being threatned to be beat'n up.
Mack Porter- (real name Charles Mack Porter 3rd) is brother to creater/director Philip maingot, and started off his Monday Night Live carrer brfore MNL was even created. Him and his brother Philip began filming random stuff on the family's ancient 1990's camera a good half-year before MNL was created. After MNL was created, the show was short on footage; so PHIL Maingot added the pre-recorded film of Mack, added Mack to the credits, and Charles Mack Porter was a cast member. Mack made occasional apperances on the show early in season one, faded off a bit through the middle of the first season, then made is big MNL break on the shows most popular sketch "Bruce Broha" which aired on the last two episodes of season one.
Travis Asis- Brother to co-cast member Kyle Asis, is a regular performer on Monday Night Live, making his debut in the opening sketch of the very first episode along side with his brother Kyle. His most popular sketch would be "American Idol: Buttler Goes Hollywood", which debut durring the 4th episode of the 1st season.
Philip Maingot- Phil is brother to co-cast member Mack Porter, and writes most of his brothers material. Philip Maingot created the show, spending most of his time behind the camera (filming), in front of the computer (editing), writing all the scripts, organizing everything that goes on, and for all of his behind the scenes efforts, loses screen time. He usually plays supporting charactes. He created all the sketches, and made his debut as a supporting role in the sketch "Got any Gapes".
Robert Kasper- Robert Kasper is co-executive producer and creative assistant to Philip Maingot and is a regular performer. Robert, who has made an apperance in many of the most famous sketches such as, "American Idol" and "The Stand in", like many, made his debut as the angry store clerk in "Got any Grapes."
ALONG WITH: Ryan Hollen- Ryan, Cousin to Philip Maingot is an occasional performer on MNL, and made his debut in a parody sketch of "MTV Cribs", but it unfortunatly ended up on the cutting room floor. He still made a few appearences in sketches such as "Good Burger" and "Dumped". He will not return for a full season (2) next year, but makes an apperance in season 2's 1st episode in "Fox11 News", and a 1950's Commercial.
Ray Yamisero- An occasional performer on MNL, and made his debut in "Bernice", a sketch about a guy who was dumped by his girlfriend.
