Talk:Montreal-Philippines cutlery controversy

[edit] POV tag
This article is written from the left-liberal allege-racism-on-every-pretext-you-can point of view. It needs some balance. Haddiscoe 18:16, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- The only allegation that it actually makes is in the second paragraph... which shouldn't be too hard to revise. 68.39.174.238 20:02, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
- What's POV about "Some commentators saw it as a regrettable example..."?
- That's not an expression of POV, but rather an objective description of reaction to the incident. The notable aspect of this article is not the incident itself, but the reaction that occurred. --orlady 20:44, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Food Utensils category
Not sure this is very related to food utensils, all the other articles are related to actual utensils. Remove it? 69.159.120.100 16:20, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think it should be kept. The subcategories in Category:Food utensils lead to articles like Fork etiquette, which seem relevant to this article. FWIW, after reading your note I added this article to Category:Eating behaviors and added a "see also" link to Table manners. --orlady 19:10, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Assessment
I have assessed this as Start Class, as it contains more detail and organization than would be expected of a Stub, and of low importance, as it a highly specific incident within Canada. Cheers, CP 15:03, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
