I've included a photo of modern Montparnasse. I think it's appropriate that the article should deal with the contemporary aspects of Montparnasse, which are actually fairly far from the cliché of accordion music and starving artists of yore. David.Monniaux 08:46, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Captions

The heart of Montparnasse...

I just took this picture off the page because I couldn't figure out how to write a decent caption for it, and the primary reason I couldn't write one is I couldn't figure out how the map helps the article. (A good caption would explain that.) Yes, I know it's a road map of the area, but I don't know where anything is on the map (except the labeled roads), and I don't learn anything from the map except that there's an inconvenient intersection in the middle of the map. Please feel free to put the picture back with a suitable caption. Some relatively new guidelines may be found at Wikipedia:Captions. -- ke4roh 01:16, Aug 22, 2004 (UTC)

Does train wreck at Montparnasse have a home on this page? --Mainstreetmark 13:05, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
