Montargis abbey, which was founded by the de Montfort family as a Dominican Nunnery, surely deserves a mention here? Eleanor of England and her daughter, another Eleanor, who married Llewelyn the Last, both spent much time there, and it has been hard to get information on the abbey anywhere else.
