[edit] Confidentiality
Reporting income and age seems a bit unfair on Elsie Eiler. Many people wouldn't take kindly to strangers knowing details like that. I know that the Irish census amalgamates a statistical area with a neighbouring one if its population is so small that there is a danger of breaching the requirement for census details to be kept confidential. Checking the four linked population-of-one U.S. places, there are no age/income details given on any. Perhaps the US Census does have a confidentiality check, but sets it at a population of one: this would seem to be too low a threshold. jnestorius(talk) —Preceding comment was added at 22:27, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
