[edit] Weasel words?
Umm, I had to look up the definition of "weasel words" but I don't see any actual instances of them in this article. Why is this marked as such? Does anyone have a good reason or can it just be removed?65.205.112.130 (talk) 03:49, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Darts
I don't think it's been established whether the darts The Monarch fires from his wrist-thingies are lethal or merely tranquilizers. Same for the dart guns his henchmen wield... deadly or incapacitating? Does anyone have any solid evidence in either direction? - DynSkeet * Talk 18:57, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Partially answered my own question... in "Dia de Los Dangerous!" the henchmen shoot Hank and Dean with the darts before Brock charges. So obviously they aren't lethal in single doses. - DynSkeet * Talk 12:42, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
It does appear that some are lethal and some are not. It really seems to depend on how vicious the shows creator's are feeling at that particular moment (or which is funnier at the time).65.205.112.130 (talk) 03:46, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Moved?
Why was this moved? -th1rt3en 16:12, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Figured it'd happen. 'The Monarch' is frankly a common moniker, and lots of Wikipedia articles will leave out stuff like 'the'. Hell, it's 'Hulk (comics)' than 'the Hulk', haha. I wish it was kept 'The Monarch' but I admit this is the one time I mean 'I can see why this happened'. Umbric Man 11:44 P.M. 31st July 2006.
[edit] Capitalization
Is the the included in his name? The credits for the show list it as "The Monarch". If this is the case shouldn't the be capitalized? I tried reading the WP:MOS but I didn't get any guidance as to whether to capitalize the as part of a proper name or title. 71.86.121.200 04:37, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Themonarch.jpg
Image:Themonarch.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Citation
I dunno how to cite, but, the thing about Monarch's voice being based on the faulty memories of Black Manta's voice being shrill is from the 'lost commentary' track that didn't make it on the DVD. It's available online, and I remember it from that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.73.70.113 (talk) 00:35, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
