[edit] Is Mona Simpson a pseudonym?

I don't see any mention of how novelist Mona Simpson comes by that name, and it would be good to have one. How bizarre is it that cartoon character Homer Simpson's mother is named Mona Simpson, that Richard Appel is a writer for the Simpson's, and that the novelist is the sister of Apple's founder Steve Jobs? - Nunh-huh 02:09, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

-- Apparently she took the name of her mother's next husband (Simpson). - chumleyk
