An average Serb cannot understand Njegos' books. The claim that he wrote in "Serbian" is preposterous to anyone with a bit of knowledge about this topic.Momisan 05:57, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
Another fallacy is the claim that he made Montenegro a secular state. He was in fact the last Prince Bishop of Montenegro. His successor, Danilo, was the first secular ruler of the country.Momisan 05:57, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
What's an "average Serb"? I can only think that You're referring to "uneducated Serb", then yet again, not the majority of the Serb populace is uneducated. The claim that he wrote in "Serbian" wasn't preposterous to himself - why should it be to us?
Actually, Njegos is more famous than Danilo for it (just like Stefan Nemanja, rather than Stefan Prvovencani - same thing). He is the one who finally fought and eliminate the foreign-ruled Governors and on one occasion, when Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic asked why does he not act like a normal Priest, Njegos responded: "ja sam svjetovni vladika" and said that he will ware no robes, nor be "locked in a monastery". --PaxEquilibrium 15:46, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
