Monty Python & the Holy Grail in Lego (also known as Lego Knights or It's Only a Model ) is a Lego stop motion animated version of the Camelot dance sequence from the film Monty Python & the Holy Grail. It was created by Spite Your Face Productions on commission from the LEGO Group and Python Pictures[1] and released in 2001 as an extra feature on the special edition DVD of Monty Python & the Holy Grail. The project was conceived by the original films respective Producer and Co-Director, John Goldstone and Terry Gilliam.[2]
It has also existed online since that time as a viral video, and is amongst the most heavily downloaded films of its type - for example, it was in the iFilms top ten for more than two years. It has also been in the top ten General, Comedy and Animation charts on Veoh, since it's beta incarnation came online.[3][4] [5]
