Montsalvat - A Symphony of Mud and Stone
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Montsalvat - A Symphony of Mud and Stone is a text created by Abstract Design in 2001 focusing primarily on the history and present day activities of the artist colony of Montsalvat. It contains a very detailed history of the artist colony, as well as its founder/creator Justus Jörgensen. It is 20 pages of text and mainly small colour photography, as well as a full page map of the grounds and buildings. Its intended purpose is to give a visitor a full overview of Montsalvat, and a means to navigate their way around the grounds, while giving an extremely detailed history behind Montsalvat. The text is primarily obtainable from the Barn Gallery for a small fee, and is displayed amongst various other informative texts as well as tourist information.
[edit] Sources
Information was compiled from various sources, namely, the son of Justus Jörgensen and current administrator of Montsalvat, Sigmund Jörgensen.
