Montoro

Montoro is a city and municipality in the Córdoba Province of southern Spain, in the north-central part of the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is located at 38º 1' N 4º 27' W, about 45km approximately east-northeast of the capital of the province, Córdoba, with coordinates of ??? . Recent population estimates from the Instituto Nacional de Estadística (National Institute of Statistics) of the population of the city is 9,583, with 4,733 men and 4,850 women.[1]
Montoro was known as Epora in Roman times, and became an important Moorish fortress in the Middle Ages.
