Montini Catholic High School is a Roman Catholic secondary school, located in Lombard, Illinois. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet in Illinois.

Montini Catholic High School was established in September of 1966. It is named after John Baptist Montini, who became Pope Paul VI the year the school was first planned. The school was originally segregated between girls and boys by a barrier through the school only to be crossed to celebrate mass.[1]

Of the approximately 5,000 students who have graduated Montini Catholic High School, 98% have attended college[2].

    • Has gone to the playoffs for 15 straight seasons, with final four finishes in 1992 and 1999.[citation needed]
    • The team won its first state title in 2004.[citation needed]
  • Wrestling: Coached by Mr. Michael Bukovsky (13th year) Director of Admissions; has nationally known wrestling program which is currently ranked 7th in the nation[citation needed].
    • The wrestling team won its first state title in class AA in 2008. After moving up from class after a winning multiple state titles in past years.
  • The girls basketball team also has been very successful in recent years.
    • In 2008 the women's basketball team finally made to the final four after a four year drought in the supersectional round. They finished in 3rd place.
    • They are coached by Jason Nichols School record of 129-30
  • The school's dance team has won multiple state titles in the single A division in the Pom and Pom/Dance[4].
  • The School's Mathematics Team has also done very well in recent years. Last year the schools overall finish was third place, missing second place by only one problem. They have won many state championships in single competitions.[citation needed]
  • The baseball team has faired well in recent years with conference and regional titles in 2007 as well as a 2nd place finish in state in 2005, and a 3rd place finish in state in 2002
  • The boys track and field team won a state relay title in the 4x100 and placed 2nd in the state in 2005
  • In 2004 the boys golf team finished 9th in the state overall
